NBI Cybercrime Division director Victor Lorenzo explains how scammers get customer information through online phishing, and gives tips on how to not fall prey to the cash-on-delivery modus. Then, Cyber Security Philippines chief technology officer Edison Tan gives tips on how to verify the validity of deposit slips for online transactions amid the proliferation of bogus online buyers. He also talks about the dangers of spam emails and suspicious links and the risks of using public WiFi.
