ONElia AVElar - Wrapped

Deep in your newspaper,
absorbed, all wrapped,
To take off the sheets
seems so hard,
to catch a glimpse
of your face,
so far...

But
I start off
a rite of unpacking:
paper, cotton shirt, skin,
looking for your heart, lost,
in printing ink and wrapping.
