One Girl - Im Slowly Going Down

i dont think it matters anymore - not to you, atleast.
i know i still care though; its all i think about; you are all i breathe.
but like suffocation... you, my breath, are no longer inside of me.
i try to fill my lungs with life, with you, but i take in lonelinesss and pain instead.
my body is living off of death, thriving on your memory alone.
i reach out my hand, gasping for air, grasping for some one to save me, but i fall short.
my palm holds nothing but wind.
no one cares; nothing is there but silence.
so i have stopped trying to breathe.
not that it wasted my energy, but every time i tried, i just died again. and i have drowned one too many times.
