One Direction member now engaged

One Direction member Zayn Malik is now engaged to girlfriend Perrie Edwards of the British girl pop group Little Mix. Edwards' mother said Malik took the traditional route in getting engaged, asking her first for her daughter's hand in marriage. The 20-year-old Malik met the 19-year-old Edwards on the set of UK's "X Factor" in 2011. He is the first member of the popular boy band to be engaged. The date of the wedding has not yet released.
