Description

Our top story this morning...
South Korean President Moon Jae-in and North Korea leader Kim Jong-un are meeting tomorrow at the truce village of Panmunjom.
Both local and foreign reporters are now gathering in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do Province to cover the historic summit.
Our Cha Sang-mi, part of the Panmunjom Press Pool, reports from the site.

Hi Mark, yes, the long-waited 2018 Inter-Korean summit is now just one day away.
I am currently at the Korea International Exhibition Center in Goyang, which is serving as the Main Press Center during the inter-Korean summit.
This place is some 30 kilometers away from the truce village of Panmunjom where the two leaders will meet on Friday.
Some 2-thousand-500 local and foreign reporters will be covering the historic summit at the press center here, as well as at a smaller press room just 50 meters away from the Peace House in Panmunjom.

Wow, this is definitely a big deal for the local and international media. Sang-mi, what is the set schedule for the summit preparation team?

Mark, today at the Peace House of Panmunjom, the six aides who will be accompanying President Moon tomorrow will conduct a final rehearsal.
This comes after Seoul and Pyongyang held a joint rehearsal on Wednesday, according to the Blue House press director Kwon Hyuk-ki.
He said it was a good chance to view the event from Pyongyang's perspective.
The rehearsal went smoothly and was very thorough, even the delivery of North Korea's signature dish, Pyongyang-style naengmyeong, or cold noodles was rehearsed.

Soon the Presidential Chief of Staff, Im Jong-seok, will hold a press briefing at 11AM Seoul time, to announce the details prior to the summit, including the list of officials who will be accompanying Kim Jong-un.
Back to you Mark.
