Omri CASSPI backstage interview

MALAGA (Euroleague) - Maccabi Tel Aviv forward Omri Casspi has enjoyed a dramatic increase in playing time since the return of coaching great Pini Gershon to the club and the youngster has made the most of the opportunity. Casspi, 20, has averaged 14.5 points in last four Euroleague games. He had 12 in Maccabi's 96-65 home triumph over Alba Berlin on Thursday. A member of the Israeli national team that earned a spot in this year's EuroBasket, Casspi may follow in the footsteps of Maccabi and Israel teammate Lior Eliyahu by being selected in this year's NBA draft.
