Ombudsman mulls own marshal unit to implement orders

Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla delivers a keynote speech on Dec. 9, 2025 at the Sikhay Laban sa Korapsyon (SiLaK) summit, themed 'Advancing Democratic Resilience and Development through Anti-Corruption Reforms.' He outlined plans to create the Ombudsman Marshal, a dedicated enforcement unit tasked with serving cyber warrants, securing evidence, enforcing investigative orders, and protecting investigators, while calling on civil society to assist in its establishment.
