OLYMPIC WRAP: WALCOTT & RICHARDS SEAL FINAL SPOTS

T&T athletes Keshorn Walcott and Jereem Richards both secured spots in the finals of their respective events at the Olympic Games.

Walcott's throw of just over 83 metres saw him finish as the eleventh of the 12 automatic qualifiers in the men's javelin, while Richards looked comfortable as he finished second in his 400 semis.

And it was another big day for St Lucia's Julien Alfred who copped a silver medal in the women's 200 final.
