Olivia Jade - The Hand

I felt a hand upon my cheek
Shaking, though, it seemed
So i placed my own upon its back,
held it still,
but warmth it lacked

I rubbed it slowly
and so it warmed
I pulled away, for the heat,
it burned
The hand began to move again,
the shaking had returned

It made its way down to my throat,
resting upon my heart
as its grasp grew tighter,
my breath did stop
but i dared not touch again

The fingernails pricked,
my skin was scratched,
my mind was going numb
I bit my lip
and gasped once more
as blood had laced my tongue

My sight did blur
my pulse, it slowed
as i begged a silent 'stop'
As i fought away the feeling,
the feeling of giving up
