helped me realize the things i have been through

helped me to forget the poignant experiences in my life

gave me the chance to reminisce the past

gave me reasons to cry over the stupid things i did

helped me to forget the pains caused by somebody

drove me to become strong and tough

took away the hatred and anger in my heart

saved me from the lonely and very tiring days

emptied my mind from worldly desires

encouraged me to think of my problems' solutions

pushed me to compare my problems and experiences from others

gave me opportunity to ask guidance and help from God

gave me time to whisper to God the words i never uttered before

helped me to reflect and get more closer to God

inspired me to compose poems about friendship and love

pushed me to believe that i can move on

and made me realize that i have to speak with myself once in a while saying, i should always be fine...

Thank you Lord for those sleepless nights...
