The Lab Los Angeles is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly post-work unwind where we stream only the finest American and international DJs, live and direct from our Downtown LA office.

Oliver Heldens joined us in The Lab LA ahead of his headlining show at The Palladium in Hollywood.

Getting his start at just 17, wunderkind Oliver Heldens immediately caught the attention of electronic music aficionados. In just four mere years in the spotlight, the Dutch prodigy has already nabbed numerous crowning positions with hits like 'Koala' and 'Gecko' and launched off his own Heldeep Records label.

He's become a staple on festival line-ups and in some of the world's best nightclubs like Omnia in Las Vegas and Ibiza's Ushuaïa. In addition, he also launched the moniker Hi-Lo to showcase his tech-house heavy productions, further cementing his status as one of the few able to balance between the commercial and the underground with ease.

The Smirnoff Sound Collective is all about bringing fans closer to the DJs, providing up and coming talent with a solid platform and throwing unique events where fans and artists can party together.
