Glazbu koju Ogenj stvara jest miks čistog rock'n'rolla s primjesama punka, te je sve obogaćeno pitkom lirikom na kajkavskom. Uz standarne instrumente jednog punk rock benda, tu su još tamburica i violina. Poneki ih uspoređuju s domaćim Flogging Molly, dok nisu ni daleko od Mumford and the Sons-a. Balade, poskočice, poguranci, doskočice, zborna pjevanja, prštenje energije, znoj i suze dio su svakog performansa Ognja.


The music that Ogenj creates is a mix of rock and roll with a dash of punk, holding it all together with traditional sentiments of their regional folk music. Aside from standard instruments of a punk band, the sound is enriched with instruments like tamburas and violins. Some compare their sentiment with Flogging Molly, Mumford and Sons and the like, but they don't care for comparisons as long as people jump, twirl, mosh, singalong and disperse positive energies, sweat and tears along with them on their concerts.
