Obed dela Cruz - Never Again

(For God I write this poem)

Never again shall I hide You in the shadow.
I’ll boast of You and shall always make you famous.
Now my heart’s desire is to make the whole wide world know
That You in this life of mine I don’t want to lose.

Never again shall I slam the door before You.
I’ll be the person You designed me to be.
I’ll be a person full of patience and virtue,
A proud person of worth but with humility.

Never again shall I get mad and run away.
It’s only You who fill and rule over my heart.
Now for eternity with You I want to stay.
Nothing can separate us or break us apart.

My love for You is very unconditional
Because my love for you is real and eternal.
