Description
Former United States president Barack Obama shared his thoughts on gender equality at a plenary discussion entitled “How the Asia-Pacific Shaped Us” in Kuala Lumpur on Friday.
Barack cited his experience during his presidency, that some senior female White House staffers were not speaking out even though they had amazing insights as an example, and urged women to be more assertive and take a bigger role in the society.
