Reuters reports that Nvidia is not placing advanced chip manufacturing orders with Intel. Although Nvidia tested Intel’s 18A production process, it chose not to proceed, reflecting ongoing doubts about Intel’s readiness to produce top-tier AI chips. Nvidia’s US$5 billion investment in Intel does not include any commitment to use Intel’s manufacturing.
