Nurul Izzah explains U-turn on VP post

Nurul Izzah Anwar says the sudden increase in nominations has inspired her U-turn on the earlier decision to stay out of the party's supreme council elections. The Lembah Pantai MP (right) says she is encouraged by the 8 nominations she has received for the post of party vice president.

She officially announced her decision to compete today, and said that she is ready to take on more experienced party leaders in the upcoming race, and to shoulder the aspirations of her nominees.
