Nuggets rally for 95-94 win over Mavericks

The Denver Nuggets dealt a big blow to the Dallas Mavericks' hopes of making the playoffs. Corey Brewer scored 23 points and got a hand on Dallas' last-second shot to preserve the Nuggets' 95-94 victory. Andre Iguodala's lay-up with under 3 seconds left put Denver in the driver's seat in a game that Dallas dominated. The win however was bittersweet for the Nuggets who lost sweet shooting forward Danilo Gallinari to a knee injury in the first half. The Nuggets improved to 52-24 as they kept third place in the tough Western Conference. Dallas, meanwhile, dropped three games back of the LA Lakers for the eighth and final playoff spot in the West with seven games remaining for both teams. – ANC Dateline Philippines, April 5, 2013
