Non-profit organizations, unlike for-profit businesses, don't aim to generate a profit. Their primary focus is on fulfilling their mission and serving the public good. However, they still need to track their financial activities to ensure responsible use of resources and demonstrate accountability to donors, stakeholders, and the public.
