Now, Sena takes on Arvind Kejriwal
Description
Shiv Sena has accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of resorting to "politics of convenience" regarding the Ghulam Ali concert and the recent spate of crimes against women in the capital. In the editorial in its mouthpiece 'Saamna', Sena questioned that when the AAP government was willing to offer its volunteers to provide security to Pakistani artist Ghulam Ali's concert if the police protection wasn't sufficient, why couldn't they do the same to prevent crime against women. Last week, two minor children were gang raped in the capital on Friday evening, leading to Kejriwal demanding control of the police to be transferred to the Delhi government in order to check the state of law and order in the national capital. After Ali's Mumbai concert was cancelled following Shiv Sena's threat to disrupt it, Kejriwal had invited Ali to perform in the capital. The ghazal maestro is set to perform in the capital on November 8.
