Nothing. No doing will get you there. Let go of the do-er. That one will never make it. It’s just not possible. Nothing can be done. It’s like Adyashanti says, With the Buddha Nature being everywhere, already, where are you going to go to find it? Well, where? And do what? It IS, already. Heart can see that. Mind never can. Mind never will. Mind is just a tool we’ve gotten all mixed up with who we are. For a while - and a long one, really - we thought we were that. We identified with it. When mind got upset about this or that, we got upset, too. We didn’t quite see that we chose to get upset - we weren’t aware of that. How could we be? We thought we were mind. Well, that’s not so. We’re waking up to that, now. We’re falling awake. Just as we fall asleep at night - just as we fell deep asleep so many aeons ago, now - we’re falling back awake. It’s as easy as that, really. Why? Because it already is. You can’t go get it. You have it - now. You can’t train yourself to become it - you are it - now. You can’t master it - you are the master - here and now. You don’t see that? Well, go into heart, and look again. It’s there. I promise you - you’re it. Now, here’s the trick, of course. Mind is so wound around and into every aspect of daily living - and has been in charge of things for so very long - that mind will keep taking over for you, again and again. That’s the usual case, anyway. Still happens with me - still happens, sometimes, with everyone. Still happens with the illumined ones for a flash, now and then - did you know that? ...
