The World Statistics Congress (WSC) 2019 will take place in Kuala Lumpur from 18-23 August 2019. Malaysia hosts this biennial conference for the first time. The International Statistical Institute (ISI), together with the Department of Statistics Malaysia, Bank Negara Malaysia, and the Malaysian Statistics Institute form the organizing committee. We speak with Dato Sri Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin, Chairman of the National Organizing Committee for ISI WSC 2019, who is also the Chief Statistician Malaysia, about WSC 2019.
