Not Shaking Blair’s Hand

Tony Blair Britain’s ex-Prime Minister, pushed to launch the war against Iraq in 2003 based on lies and fabricated reports. 10 days into the war Lance Corporeal Shaun Brierley loses his life in an accident in Iraq. 6 years later, Shaun’s father comes face to face with Blair in a memorial service held for those Britons who lost their lives in the war against Iraq. Shaun refuses to shake the politician’s hand citing that he has blood on his hands. To this day, many still believe that Tony Blair along with his American ally George Bush is a war criminal and that he should be tried for crimes against humanity.
This film is the story of Shaun’s grieving parents who are just an example of all those fathers and mothers and family members who have lost their loved ones in an unjustified war in which millions of Iraqis perished innocently as well. This is their fight for justice and answers.
