Not Long Left - We where poets

we are the children,
who never wanted to
say goodbye to our toys.
Whilst all the other kids
where following thier fate,
We where the ones,
who wrote stories,
about our adventures,
in little notebooks,
we where the ones,
sitting on the branches,
up high, watching the world.
We where the ones who
sang to the stars,
and imagined life on the moon.
We where the ones who
heard the birds sing,
the trees whisper,
and the sun shout,
in radiant heated anger.
we where poets,
even if we didn't know it.
