Not Long Left - Affections

I display my fondness for you with words
on Icy car windows. And like our fragile

Partnership the words lose their meaning
when the heat is on. On work days I

pen our plans on the back of warm bus
tickets. Inbetween the the smudged print

I scetch our dreams, never do I keep them
they are left for the lovers huddled at the

back. I show my trust in you by placing
A pad of poems upon your sweet warm

lap feeling like a proud school child.
I only hope you don't understand a word.
