Not everyone's karma is the same.
Though eventually ALL will be saved by Amida Buddha and brought to His Pure Land (Amida's Primal Vow) ... not everyone is on the same path in this realm known as Samsara.
Many of us are at many different points in our spiritual journey which will eventually lead us to encounter Amitabha and His Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and Peace.
