Northeast US hit by storms

Severe storms in the northeast US damaged portions of New York state.

Trees were uprooted... literally pulling the ground out with them.

Crews worked to restore power to the more than 10 thousand who've been left in the dark.

It's a similar situation in parts of western Pennsylvania where storms have brought down trees and electrical wires.

A flight tracking company reports more than 900 flights were canceled at LaGuardia Airport in New York.

Flight delays were also reported at airports in Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia and Washington D.C.
