North West elects new premier

The ANC in the Northwest is expected to announce a new executive leadership. On Tuesday, the party announced former struggle stalwart and Robben Island prisoner, Bushy Maape as premier-elect, following the removal of embattled premier Job Mokgoro. In the meantime, Mokgoro hasn't officially resigned from his position nor the provincial legislature. Political Analyst from the North West University, Professor, Andre Duvenhage, discusses this.
