North Korea's Kim supervises "drone" attack drill

North Korea's state media on Friday (April 5) released video footage of its leader Kim Jong-un inspecting military drills in March, amid high tension on the peninsula.

The North's state-run television KRT showed Kim inspecting landing and counter-landing operations and checking multiple-launch rocket systems which involved combined units including the North Korean navy.

KRT also showed the North's leader supervising pistol and automatic file firing drills at the second battalion under North Korea People's Army (KPA) and demonstrating his shooting skills to military officers and soldiers.

KRT also broadcast Kim examining musical instruments made by the North's 1.2 million-strong army. Kim checked instruments such as accordions, guitars, janggus, drums and piano and watched soldiers playing them.
