norman hale - Indian Ghost

Just like the clouds
They move with the wind
Following us around and around
From the beginning to the end

They are our for fathers
Who have died in the past
Watching and making sure
We complete every task

They once roamed this country
By horseback and by foot
And now we see glimpses of them
Blown in the wind like soot

They come lurking around
In the still of the night
You can see their figures gleaming
With the help of the moonlight

Oh they're harmless
Now don't get me wrong
They might even spook you
But they don't stay very long

Some where great cheifs in their day
Great warriors among their tribes
Now they just drift in the wind
And bring us chills and vibes

So watch out for the Indian ghost
He might be bringing you a warning
And don't go laughin it off
Or you might regret it come morning
