Normal Girl Normal World - Is It Wrong?

Is it wrong for me to still be afraid?
The fear takes over, it controls me.
The pain reminds me of that day.
A constant reminder,
It never ends.

Is it wrong that these scars still hurt?
Both physical and emotional,
Both on show for the world to see.
The pain keeping me up each night,
Making me cry for hours.

The flashbacks haunt me,
They're there everywhere.
The rain.
The blood.
The fear.
The pain.

Will this ever end?
I just want to go back,
Back to before all this.
No fear and no pain.
Will that day ever come?
