Non-destructive editing with Smart Objects | Adobe Photoshop Tutorial
1 Views • Aug 17, 2020
Description
In Photoshop, you can copy and paste or import various image objects, but if you don't convert them to Smart Objects first, and start performing edits and transformations on them, you will lose image data and quality. Should you want to re-use those objects, you might find yourself without options later.
But when you convert your layers to Smart Objects, you preserve all that image data and can apply transformations such as scale, rotate, tilt, perspective distort and more, even apply layer filters and other effects without affecting the original data.
