NO UNC SUPPORT CHANGE IN PROCESS FOR ACTING CoP

The Opposition Leader strongly objects to Government's plan to remove the Parliament's approval for the appointment of an acting Commissioner or an acting Deputy Commissioner of Police.

Kamla Persad-Bissessar responds to Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley's latest announcement on the matter on Tuesday, she describes the plan as an "anti-democratic step."
