No relief for Srinivasan from SC

In a setback for ousted BCCI chief N Srinivasan, the Supreme Court on Wednesday said that there were "serious allegations" against him and 12 others in a confidential report by the IPL probe panel.

The apex court further said that it is for "institutional autonomy" of the BCCI in letting it probe the allegations in the confidential report, but Srinivasan must be kept out of the affairs of the cricketing body.

"We cannot throw out or ignore what is there in the sealed cover report of the IPL probe panel," said the top court.
