No Official Statement From US Regarding Pastor Brunson

Diplomatic tensions continue to remain high between the United States and Turkey.
According to Reuters, the U.S. embassy in Ankara, Turkey has not put out a statement concerning pastor Andrew Brunson.
Brunson, and evangelical Christian, was arrested in 2016 and is now being tried by a Turkish court for espionage and terror related charges in the aftermath of the Turkish coup d’état attempt.
A report on social media has cited the embassy as saying he would be released from house arrest by Aug 15.
