No EIA report requested, says Penang CM
Description
The Penang government has said that although the Department of Environment (DOE) rejected the affordable apartment project in Tanjung Bungah, the department did not request an environmental impact assessment (EIA). During a press conference on Tuesday, Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said that if the department had requested for an EIA report, the state government would have complied.
