Description
The appointment of Zambry Abd Kadir as menteri besar of Perak was unconstitutional, the Kuala Lumpur High Court was told today.
Counsel Sulaiman Abdullah, who is representing ousted menteri besar Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin, said that his client did not resign or lose confidence of the assembly.
Mohammad Nizar, 52, filed the suit to seek declaration that he is still the rightful menteri besar, and an injunction to bar Zambry, who was appointed menteri besar on Feb 6, from discharging his duties.
