Nissan e-Power 2nd Generation Technology

The Nissan Qashqai is breaking new ground: e-Power will make its debut in the compact crossover SUV in late summer 2022. The unique electrified drive system is coming to Europe for the first time. As part of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, it points the way to electromobility and makes journeys just as pleasant as they are efficient.

The drive system, specially tailored to European drivers, combines two Nissan strengths: advanced battery and motor technology as well as innovative combustion engines with variable compression ratios. This combination optimizes fuel efficiency without sacrificing driving pleasure. This is Nissan's response to the typical driving behavior of crossover owners: more than 70 percent drive predominantly in urban and suburban environments - and compromise on driving pleasure in favor of environmental protection. e-Power puts an end to that.
