Ninette goes classical

Ninette Tayeb the winner of Israel's Pop Idol plans to perform at Tel Aviv's Performing Arts Center with a 40 man-band next month. Tayeb will perform songs from her albums Barefoot and Communicative in symphonic arrangements especially made for the performance and will be accompanied by Raanana Symphonette Orchestra. Tayeb's achievements include recording the Hebrew soundtrack for the movie Mary Poppins and she was chosen by the Walt Disney Company to record the Hebrew soundtrack for the movie the Princess and The Frog. Last year she was chosen for the role Wendla in the Israeli production of the musical Spring Awakening.
