nimal dunuhinga - The Uncle's Orchard

The flowers in bloom
and the trees laden with fruits.
A different rhythm today
and in the orchestra I found
a variety of birds.
Some are wounded, feathers with blood stained
who were flown from the war zone.
Oh! I felt very sorry for them
and I spent the whole day
for dressing their wounds.
Now I am familiar with their dialects
and I heard a young couple were murmuring
she is already pregnant.
'Hey darling! A black Mona Lisa has come today for negotiations
from a rice field it seems?
does she make some miracles
or it may be worsen?
Anyway we remain here this uncle's orchard
for sometimes'
I see in the mirror my hair turns grey
and some wrinkles on my face.
Little grief; 'Marco' wags it's tail
while licking a bone at the threshold.
