The shepherd's daughter like a sunflower.
An attractive girl in her teens.
The miracle is when she comes to the sunday fair
to collect sundries with her mother,
the villagers' surprise of their beauty
and they cannot separate mother and daughter at all.
Really they are made out of a different clay?
In the moonlit nights the flautist who plays melancholy tunes
with his long bamboo flute at the river's edge.
Then he catches a distant dim light of a lantern
when she opens her little window
and he realizes it's on the latch.
The boy who remembers his poor grandma
used to tell stories at midnight
about the shepherd girls
and she pass a hint
they are belong to Chimera
and only a dream for the naughty boys.
