Simultaneously surfing in cyberspace,
Our memories destined to interface,
the search transcends locality,
a virtual immorality,
any port in a storm,
attachments form,
we were reckless,
feckless,
deliriously desirous,
neglected protecting
ourselves from a virus
images portayed,
connections made,
emotions cacheted,
a mere charade,
or tailor-made, masquerade?
Software enhancing,
romancing,
lap top dancing,
service providers accomodate,
payment at the local rate,
stalking the highway,
the touch type commuter
a modern day icon or digitized suitor,
What You See Isn't What You Get,
cybernetic roulette,
message received,
return to sender,
delet another great pretender
caught in the web,
address unknown,
escape to the valley of sillicone.
an E-mail dummy will pacify,
a byte from the menu will satisfy,
but in the cold hard light of day,
you’re still alone and castaway.
