Nikhail Pandhi - Saunterer

I knocked at the glass madly
As I had being doing for ages
Only to find that beyond the splinters
Lay infinite voids and stages

That beyond this pane a paradigm existed
That beyond these grills lay ghostly groves
That beyond these precincts lay wasted bounties
Waiting for me to carve coves

What lay within was what I had
What I lacked was not what lay within
But lies engendered in the seamlessness
Of the world which outside my window, begins

Sometimes I dream to elope with love
To jump across these piercing shards
So that it can help me fill that macrocosm
Which soul mates see and passion guards

I am becoming a Saunterer, have broken the glass
Fled from the phantasm, sauntered into this farce
And now that I saunter, on newer isles
I see love around for miles and miles
