Night Sky - Bright Stage

I don’t often practice
everything I preach.
Bright spotlights shine from above.
Only you are in control
of your bittersweet destiny.
Everything I want
is barely in reach.
So much to do
in one short lifetime.
Unspeakable perseverance
and devotion to the dream.
Soar over obstacles
in the mind and soul.
Take one step at a time.
Walk upon the gilded stage of your dream
and never walk away.
