Night Owl - Scared

Middle school approaches
It looms in front of me,
a tall building obscuring
my view of anything else.
I can see nothing
but the threat of middle school,
it is everywhere I look.
Why does fright come for me
in the middle of the night?
it creeps up on me,
takes me over.
worries fill my head.
they say that the middle school years
are the best of your life.
so why,
why
am i so
scared?
