Night Out

Night Out follows a group of friends in two sub-plots as they mark the end of their time in university. It’s a time when most of them look around at the world around them and don’t particularly like what they see. They’ve made a few mistakes over the past couple of years and now they’re about to come to light.

The first sub-plot focuses on the relationship of Joanna and Ryan. Their relationship started in first year and now that uni is ending, a shadow is cast over it. After getting lost on the way to an end-of-uni party, and through the stupidity of their stoner friend Brent, it comes to light that Ryan had an affair with a close friend of theirs and their relationship hit’s the rocks.

The second sub-plot focuses on Danielle, who is lamenting about the end of uni and what she feels will be the end of her relationships with her friends. Sarah tries to console Danielle but finds that she has a very cynical and dark view of the world.
