Why do you keep on hurting me
Keep on kicking me down to the ground
Leaving no heart nor strength for the next
I gave you my heart
You threw it towards the floor
It was broken and shattered along the room
I'm still left to wonder if i can move on
With a broken and shattered heart

The tears scrolled down my face
wasn't able to stop them
You were the first person i felt the need to cry for
First time was a waste
Second time more than a day
Third time was supposed to be a charm
but i still sit here with a broken and shattered heart

I won't be able to escape your face
At school you're there no matter what day
You think an apology can make up for what you did
And how you left me but you weren't the one left
with a broken and shattered heart
not able to be mended
