im scared that you are lying
about things i do not know

im scared of loving you
cuz love hurts alot
im scared of giving you my heart
its all the protection i've got

im scared to let you in
because im scared of what i simply am
im trying to love you
the best that i can

im scared to let you hold me
when you let go i may cry
im scared to say hello
when you may say goodbye

im scared to let you know these things
i do not know what it means
im scared things are an illusion
love isnt always what it seems

im scared to let you kiss my lips
it might fade away
im scared that when tonight is over
you wont remember me today

im scared of fate
scared to let you know
i do love you so much

but im just scared that someday
i'll have to let you go
