Nicole Heintz - Serenity

She was lying on the grass,
Watching the white friendly clouds moving slowly across the blue sky.
One of them looked like a beautiful free bird,
She admired its huge wings
And she felt so peaceful and quiet that she thought she could dive into the firmament
As if it was a serene ocean.
The sun was stroking her face, arms and bare feet.
She was neither asleep nor wide awake,
Her mind was somewhere between the earth and the skies.
She closed her eyes
And off she flew…
