All but proved wrong in the end.

Just a porcelain doll.
Made just for fun,
Easy to break,
No feelings,
Passed around,
Just another toy.

It’s all finally taking its toll on me.
Absurd thoughts passing over your eyes,
Making me cower in a dark corner.
Not wanting to come out and play.
Too frightened to move.

When will it end?
When will be the day I stand up?
Stand with shoulders set.
Fight with all I’ve got,
With no fear in my eyes
And staring death in its face.
Battling an endless fight.
Push till everything falls off the cliff
Into my endless abyss of lifelong pain.

Realizing…
Wondering…
If it ever could have been?
If things would have changed,
And would all be alright.
Like nothing ever happened.
Would you be able to fix me?
Or would I be different?

Disfigured features…
Altered personality…
A different person all together…
Will I ever be good enough?
