Nick Cannon Still 'Shattered' Over Mariah Carey Split

Nick Cannon seems as vibrant as ever as he appears places like the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, but this bright exterior might not reflect what he’s feeling inside.

The actor reflects on his past relationship with Mariah Carey to Entertainment Tonight, saying “I’m broken. I’m shattered.”

Even though Nick and Mariah split in 2014, and he’s since fathered a child with a different woman, Nick hasn’t quite moved on from his marriage to Mariah. In fact, People magazine reports that Mariah is still his “ex,” and anyone else is “people that he’s known, loved and cared for.”

Still, Nick tells ET that he’s “always dating,” and that he’s a “single man,” and “supposed to date.”

Mariah has moved on with on-and-off again boyfriend, Brian Tanaka.

Hopefully the 36-year-old will find a way to put his shattered self back together in the near future.
